Has anyone else seen googlemap?Somehow it just slipped past me. I love it way better than mapquest so I changed it as the default mapping program on the site. To add a google map link (MAP TO: 2001%20MAIN%20STREET) , simply click on the googlemap button in your stylebox and type the address inside the box. The service is unbelievably fast and accurate. Also the zooming and moving is totally real-time interactive. It blows mapquest away.

CNET and valentines dayCategory: computers
Just to make what everyoe has been saying about the commercial aspect of valentne's day I found this even more disturbing. At CNET, I was looking around at laptops, which I am not getting right now and saw this link on the page for the laptop I was reading about.
I seriously don't want this laptop. I don't know who would. It seems too chincy but I still can't believ how they advertise buying it like this.

Electronic OrchestraCategory: school
The electronics class was so fun today. It started out bad for me because i drove all the way to UB north campus only to find out that I forgot my eletcornic instrument at home. i also did not have speakers. Luckily, joesphine cam eto the rescue with some speakers for my intrument.
We all went into the atrium and playe dour instruments in the echo chamber of a hallway.
Here is some of the class getting set up.
Here is one of my classmates instruments. She built it inside of a tortoise shell with a deer antler sticking out that controlled a potentiometer.

After two years I finally resampled the mp3s in this journal while adding categories to old journals. Now they sound like they were supposed to.

Our new tortoiseCategory: pets
We got a leopard tortoise 
so Basra could have a valentine buddy. I want to call him valentino in honor valentines day but the other two dads arn't sure yet. The other possible name is fallujah.
He is so cute. He is so tiny that he is not much bigger than my thumbnail.
I also popped into compusa and found out the difference bwteen the sony s360 and the S360P. The P just comes with windows XP professional. I even got the guy to let me pick it up.

A new class siteCategory: school
I added Stephanie Rothernbergs's Art 422 class to the list of classes with a course site running off the estrip engine. I like the new theme. I need to make a whole bunch of themes so I have some to spare. Maybe after talking to the students tomorrow, we can break the 200 epeep barrier again.
I seriously cannot believe the amount of work I did today. I wish I had a mini-laptop so bad so that I could at least tour around while working. I want the sony S360P so bad. They have it here for only $1699.00. I really don't understand laptop pricing. How is it that that same computer retails for over $2000 in other places.

Wow, this happend when google maps had just came out. Later, I ended up using yahooo maps for the site instead. It's funny how this demo about adding a google map to your journal, now adds a yahoo map.
